In one Atlanta, abundance is everywhere.
In another, families may live only miles away while facing barriers to fresh, nutritious and affordable food.
The distance between those realities isn’t always measured in miles. Sometimes it is measured in access.
A Tale of Two Cities brings those realities into the same conversation, not to exploit hardship, but to demonstrate what becomes possible when a community chooses to respond.
Our goal is to turn awareness into resources, resources into access, and one evening of generosity into meaningful impact beyond the event itself.
Goodr began in Atlanta with the belief that hunger isn’t simply a scarcity problem. It is also a logistics and access problem.
Today, Goodr works with businesses, foundations, governments and community partners to redirect surplus food and provide groceries and meals to communities through innovative hunger-relief programs. Goodr says it has served more than 30 million meals and diverted more than 4 million pounds of food from landfills through its broader work. Goodr
